CPU Fan Speed too fast // too garish
Hi.
I have an Athlon 64 3200+ Processor with a stock heat sink. When I boot up, the sports fan speed is at 3300 RPM and the CPU temperature at boot is 32C.
When it loads astir vista, the buff temp shoots up to 5000 RPM and the CPU temperature at vista is at 30C.
What can I do to remedy this problem? I get into't commemorate it being this gimcrack. I cleaned the heatsink/case with a compressed vent dustcloth and IT still does information technology.
Thanks

Compressed beam ? you might induce knocked your diffuse of equilibrate.
View it while its in work .. ( i have seen this materialize in the lab once ).also, take a look in your BIOS configuration for fan settings, but i would bet the Best solution bequeath be to get a substitute fan and heatsink.

Aerate Quiet Rooter in your BIOS.

speed of the buff
symptomless check the aplomb and quite a driver is installed in that mother board amd with asus has that pick...then go to bios and increase the processor clocking quicken..past check it..Beaver State increase the paging files size so information technology may degrease the load happening the processor..

Thanks all for your responses.
Speedfan--I installed SpeedFan and I tried to transfer the fan speed just to no service (didn't work). I have a concern though. On one of the temperature readings (read as Temp1, Temp2) IT showed a 127C temperature. Is this a fluke? I bed IT's not my processor because information technology's labelled as Meat (and it is ~33C).
In terms of hardware, I purchased a new Apevia little-ATX case with the 400W supply. Everything is novel except for the motherboard, ram, and Postscript. The video carte du jour is a brand early 8800GTS and is reported to hover around 47C by SpeedFan.
I only have incomparable fan in the motherboard (CPU Fan), and ace case fan. The CPU fan is the one that causes the haphazardness (3300 RPM at start up to 5500 RPM).
In footing of the "bios settings," there is a Coolheaded and Quiet setting. I disabled it... no change. I enabled it over again.... zero change.
Is information technology possible that if I get an aftermarket cooler the CPU fan testament loosen up?
P.S. - it's definitely the CPU fan because ahead this unprecedented casing etc, it was installed on an older computer and it was Fortemente.

Speedfan
My fan is really fast and loud-voiced, it does my head in. I might consider installing speedfan.

If you give birth vista have you tried running as administrator for speedfan? I used it because when I change by reversal the main power off my calculator then turn it along and later turn on my computer it sounds alike a jet engine for a minute but speedfan fixed it.

Hello,
Have you double checked your BIOS settings? If your CPU is running that air-conditioned, you should not be at full speed all the time. How about double checking the fan>motherboard power connection? If you have IT one pin off, it'll not be able to make up controlled by the motherboard settings -merely- IT bequeath be running 100% all the clip. Hope this helps.
